Huge Second Win for the Blue Devils

After defeating Haddon Heights last week to start off the 2019 season, the Burlington City Blue Devils needed to maintain that momentum as they traveled to New Egypt for the second game of the season.

“This one was huge,” Coach Robinson said. “We had all that momentum coming off the first game and we just had to keep it moving.”

Thankfully, the Warriors were simply no match to the Blue Devils, giving City their second big win of the season with a stellar 33 to 3 victory.

Joey Wieland had an exceptional game, throwing for an amazing 128 yards.

And there is no doubt that Jakier Royster was the heart of the offense, accumulating 122 receiving yards on top of his 81 rushing yard.

The Burlington City Blue Devils will have their season home opener next weekend against Salem.
